Presenter: Dr. David Salcido, Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine
Dr. Salcido's lab focuses on exploring effectiveness and outcomes of resuscitation methods, particularly after cardiac arrest. Much of his work centers around a clinically-relevant pig-model of cardiac arrest and resuscitation. In his talk he will give a round-up of the research work that is ongoing in the emergency medicine department investigating post-arrest resuscitation.
