Date
April 12, 2022 - 10:00am to 11:30amEvent Description
Presenters: Jennifer Darby, MD (mentor: Timothy Billiar, MD)
Dr. Darby's group has shown that exercise confers protection against end organ damage in a mouse model of hemorrhagic shock. Single cell RNA sequencing analysis highlighted differential expression of interferon pathway genes, implicating interferon signaling as a potential source of this protective effect. This talk will discuss ongoing and future experiments to help untangle how differential regulation of interferon pathways in exercised mice may preserve organs from damage during hemorrhagic shock.
Location and Address
