The University has announced the opening of nominations for the 2023-2024 Chancellor’s Awards for Staff. Please share this information widely, as nominations are due by Friday, July 19, 2024.
Up to nine awards will be granted this year, covering a diverse range of categories:
Student Impact Award: For staff members who have significantly contributed to student success and campus life.
Research Support Award: For those advancing the University’s research initiatives.
Innovation in Advancing Administrative and Operational Efficiency Award: For staff improving workplace efficiency through innovative methods.
University Engagement Award: For staff committed to volunteer activities within the University.
Community Engagement Award: For those enhancing their communities.
Outstanding Career Achievement Award: For staff with over 20 years of exceptional service.
Exceptional Early Career Achievement Award: For early-career staff (three-to-five years) demonstrating outstanding commitment.
Commitment to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Award: For contributions to the University’s diversity and inclusion efforts.
Excellent Mentor Award: For staff serving as exemplary mentors to their colleagues.
Award recipients will receive a $2,500 cash prize, recognition in a University news publication, and their names will be added to a permanent plaque in the William Pitt Union.
To nominate a deserving colleague, please submit an online nomination form by the July 19, 2024 deadline.
