Congratulations to Jennifer A. Steel, PhD, who has been recognized for her recent contributions to the field of Oncology. Dr. Steel recently led a study highlighting the link between integrated healthcare from those within a patient's oncology team with emergency room visits and hospitalization. Suggesting that increased contact with the care team may contribute to improved patient outcomes by facilitating timely intervention. A groundbreaking finding that has the potential to help many of those effected by cancer.
