Dr. Tzeng becomes President of the Association of VA Surgeons

Dr. Edith Tzeng, who serves as the Interim Director of the Division of Vascular Surgery and holds the UPMC Endowed Chair in Surgery, has been elected as the President of the Association of VA Surgeons for the 2025-2026 term in Atlanta this month. She succeeds Dr. Daniel Chu, a Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh, in this significant leadership role. Dr. Tzeng has been at the helm of the Vascular Surgery Program at the Pittsburgh Veterans Administration Hospital for more than twenty years.
