Congratulations to team members Dr. Ulka Sachdev, Shiyi Shen, Yi Zhu, and Michele Morris, whose project received a $25,000 award in the 2017 Pitt Innovation Challenge (PInCh) competition, where teams compete by pitching innovative solutions to challenging health problems.
The Sachdev team’s winning project was “FitIt,” a smart compression stocking for patients suffering from chronic venous insufficiency that is adjustable and self-monitoring to reduce symptoms and improve quality of life.
