A group from UPMC Hillman Cancer Center led by team captain Alessandro Paniccia, MD, is walking to raise funds and awareness for PanCAN (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network) at the PurpleStride LIVE event in Pittsburgh on April 30, 2022 at the South Side Works in Pittsburgh. PanCAN is leading the way towards continued advancements in the treatment of pancreatic cancer and helping more patients survive through national coordination and research. PurpleStride raises vital awareness about pancreatic cancer and contributes millions of dollars each year for those affected by the worlds’ toughest cancer.
