Dr. Daniel Hall Appointed UPMC Wolff Center Medical Director of High Risk Populations and Outcomes

 

Congratulations to Daniel E. Hall, MD, MDiv, MHSc, FACS who was appointed Medical Director of High Risk Populations and Outcomes of the Wolff Center at UPMC, effective July 1, 2018.

As Medical Director, Dr. Hall will oversee and guide clinical and health services research programs surrounding high risk populations, clinical frailty, and associated outcomes in all UPMC settings. He will be responsible for promoting, advancing, and developing innovative programs that targeted towards improving outcomes through better shared-decision making, preoperative optimization, and coordination of interdisciplinary surgical care. To this end, he will serve on both the Physician Quality Cabinet of the Wolff Center and the UPMC Surgical Services Oversight Committee.
