Presenter: Samer T. Tohme, MD
Dr. Tohme's research focuses on the role of neutrophil nets in cancer progression and metastasis, and he will discuss his recent work that has just been published in the paper "Exercise training decreases hepatic injury via changes in immune response to liver ischemia/reperfusion in mice."
Additionally, the review article "Surgery for Cancer: A Trigger for Metastases" by Dr. Tohme discussed the role of surgery, injury, and ischemia in cancer metastasis.
