Why I Chose the University of Pittsburgh: I chose Pitt Surgery for its breadth of clinical training, innumerable research opportunities, and cohesive and welcoming resident and faculty community. I went to medical school at the University of Pittsburgh, and my interactions with residents and faculty here molded my clinical and research interests and provided me with role models whom I hope to emulate going forward. I was excited for the opportunity to train alongside them and to join this community.
Non-Academic Accomplishments: I am an avid scrapbooker and love taking pictures and documenting adventures. I also enjoy hiking, painting, and exploring new restaurants in Pittsburgh.
