"Right-Sizing" Trauma and Emergency General Surgery Care

Our projects focus on identifying specfic Acute Care Surgery patients and resources and ensuring they align. I plan to discuss and wrap up our work on the volume-outcome relationship in EMS for severely injured patients, discuss access to advanced emergency general surgery services in the context of the new EGS-VP program, and the relationship between timing and mortality for emergent EGS procedures.
