On October 30, 2017, Drs. Herbert J. Zeh III, Randall Brand (Dept. of Medicine, Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition), and Nathan Bahary (Dept. of Medicine, Hematology/Oncology) were invited to KDKA Radio to discuss pancreatic cancer. KDKA AM talk show host Mike Pintek, who announced on his radio program that he was being treated for pancreatic cancer, devoted two hours of his daytime show to help inform the public about this disease.
Drs. Zeh, Bahary, and Brand each discussed how UPMC’s multidisciplinary team works together to provide the best treatment options for each patient. Radio listeners were invited to call in with their questions as well.
