Why I Chose the University of Pittsburgh
I was seeking a program that excelled in clinical training, research, and culture. The program handles complex cases with a high patient volume across all divisions, has a productive and intentional research program, and is centered around a community of incredibly kind, teaching-focused, and dedicated individuals, from residents to support staff to faculty.
Non-Academic Interests/Accomplishments
I served as the captain of the softball team at Amherst College, leading us to a 5th-place finish in the D3 Women's College World Series. Although I no longer play softball, my passion for sports remains strong. I can often be found attending live sports events or watching games on TV with friends. In my free time, I am an aspiring chef and foodie, always on the lookout for the next great dish or enjoying cooking for a group.
