Why I Chose the University of Pittsburgh

During my interview, Dr. Lee said that one of his goals was to make us nicer people at graduation than we are now. I thought this truly embodied the commitment to improving both our clinical and interpersonal skills. All of the residents are kind and hard working, which creates a great learning environment. I also wanted to live in a city that was fun yet affordable. Pittsburgh fits the bill!

Non-Academic Accomplishments

I enjoy all outdoor things, except sea creatures. I have a six-month-old puppy who is loving the dog-friendly city, especially Frick Park!  I love to eat, drink, and stay warm!
