Why I Chose the University of Pittsburgh
Having lived in Philadelphia for the past 11 years, is a great honor to return to my hometown to train at UPMC. Additionally, I am enjoying the change of pace that comes with living in a small city once again. For its size, Pittsburgh is full of culture and fun things to do!
Non-Academic Interests/Accomplishments
Apart from medicine, my greatest lifelong interest has been in music. Growing up, I sang in both the Children's Festival Chorus of Pittsburgh and the Junior Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh. I also played and sang folk/singer-songwriter music and, in college, wrote music for a Shakespeare company.
