I wanted to train at a program with unmatched case volume, exceptional subspecialty depth, and an international reputation for clinical and academic excellence. Just as importantly, I was looking for a place with kind, supportive faculty and co-residents. Being close to my family is an additional perk!
Non-Academic Accomplishments
I speak Spanish and Portuguese, am an amateur ceramicist, and like to think I'm a pretty good cook.
