Nine General Surgery residents represented our department at the 12th Annual Academic Surgical Congress, February 7 - 9, 2017 in Las Vegas, NV, presenting the following work:
We recently became an institutional member of the Association of Women Surgeons (AWS). AWS is one of the largest not-for-profit educational and professional organizations dedicated to enhancing the interaction and exchange of information between women surgeons, with members in 21 countries. This new relationship will allow us to support residents within our own environment through the AWS community, networking, education, and mentorship.
