Peripheral artery disease is a growing problem with significant economic impact. Current synthetic bypass grafts offer poor long-term patency for distal small vessel disease defined as less than 6mm in diameter. From idea to prototype, Dr. Moses will be discussing his group's most recent prototypes and the shift from bench to animal models. He will again briefly discuss a more recent project aimed at evaluating best medical management versus surgical management for patients with claudication.
