Our surgical oncology physicians Emilia J. Diego, MD and Kelly L. McCoy, MD, FACS were part of a five-member team of doctors who participated in a half time field goal kicking contest at the Breast Cancer Awareness Steelers game on Sunday, October 8, 2017 versus Jacksonville. Other UPMC physicians, medical oncologists Timothy F. Burns, MD, PhD; Jaime Anne Hilger Mullin, DO; and J. Franklin Viverette, MD, also kicked at the event.
The winning kicker received $10,000 to donate to a preferred UPMC research fund or UPMC Hillman Cancer Center initiative.
