Drs. Shimena Li and Jay Srinivasan Named Pitt BWF Scholars

Congratulations to Shimena Li, MD, and Jay Srinivasan, MD, who were named University of Pittsburgh Burroughs Wellcome Fund (BWF) Scholars as part of the University’s Physician-Scientist Incubator program. Dr. Li’s mentor is Jason Sperry, MD, MPH, and her research focuses on prehospital tranexamic acid in trauma and endocrine surgery. Dr. Srinivasan’s research focuses on coagulopathy, hemostasis, and transfusion in trauma. His mentor is Matthew Neal, MD.
