Tony chose the University of Pittsburgh General Surgery program because it offers unparalleled training for a well-rounded surgeon, including diverse clinical experiences with exceptional surgical leaders passionate about teaching and improving healthcare, as well as unlimited access to research resources to cultivate scientists, all in a friendly and supportive setting. This creates the best environment for residents to reach their academic and personal growth.

He has a passion for cooking and baking and find it fun and stress-relieving to create dishes to share them with friends. He enjoys swimming and water activities. In Pittsburgh, he enjoys biking around the park trails and recently developed an interest in indoor rock climbing. Tony also appreciates a good mental workout with some mind-twisting Mystery/Thriller books or movies
