Congratulations to our Vascular Surgery division faculty member Ulka Sachdev, MD and fellow Scott Chapman, MD, who received the Henry T. Bahnson, MD Teacher of the Year Award and the David L. Steed, MD Excellence in Teaching Award, respectively. They were recognized for their accomplishments during the Vascular Surgery graduation ceremony in June and received plaques to commemorate their honors. Dr. Chapman will also receive a check for $500.

On May 8th, 2019, we held our 17th Annual Research Day and Richard L. Simmons Lecture in Surgical Science. Attendees enjoyed a phenomenal presentation from our guest lecturer, Dr. George Miller from the Department of Surgery at the New York University School of Medicine. His talk was entitled “New Approaches to Pancreatic Cancer Immunotherapy.”
