In his presentation Dr. Afflu will be going over the current state of vascular grafts, materials currently used, wrinkles in nature and biomimicry. He will be ending by discussing the three arms of his project; experiments with pulsatile pump and synthetic grafts, multiphoton experiment examining pulsatility in arteries and its relationship to platelet adherence, and arterial casting experiments.
