President and First Lady Visit UPMC Presbyterian

 

President Donald Trump visited Pittsburgh after the horrific shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue on Saturday, October 27, 2018. Accompanied by First Lady Melania Trump and members of his family and administration, after attending a ceremony at the synagogue in remembrance of the lives lost, the President came to UPMC Presbyterian hospital where first responders continue to be treated. He met with law enforcement officials wounded while responding to Saturday's attack as well as with the hospital's care team, including the trauma surgery team from our department.

 

Dr. Matthew Neal Named One of Pittsburgh Magazine’s “40 Under 40”

 

Congratulations to Matthew D. Neal, MD, FACS, who has been named as one of Pittsburgh Magazine’s “40 Under 40” for 2018. Each year, the magazine and PUMP recognize 40 outstanding individuals under the age of 40 whose creativity, vision, and passion enrich the Pittsburgh region. The 2018 40 Under 40 honorees will be celebrated on Thursday, November 1, 2018 in an event at the Rivers Casino.
